LG Electronics India has unveiled their new ultra portable LED projector, the HW300G that aims to enhance viewer’s television experience by delivering film-like picture quality. With the HW300G, home theatre enthusiasts will be able to watch their favourite films in the comfort of their own living and media rooms without compromising on picture quality. According to LG, the HW300G leverages an advanced DLP engine to deliver a level of colour and image quality that is traditionally only found in studio-grade monitors and commercial movie theatres, in addition to its native resolution of WXGA 1280 x 800 pixels.

The HW300G projector aims to match high-performance with high-design. The projector weighs around 780 g. The theatre mode operates at a noise level of 35 db enabling users to focus on finer details without and quiet scenes without it whirring in the background, like a washing machine. The HW300G is an LED projector with 30,000 hrs lamp life, an HDMI port, USB input which supports DivX format and the facility to play movie, picture and music files through USB. The projector also has a File Viewer option for Office, PDF and HWP files that does not require the conversion of the original file.
The projector’s USP is its design, projection distance, volume booster and power supply. The LG HW300G LED Projector has been designed as an innovative, high-quality image system. According to LG, the projector is available with an adjustable projection size, and can be used anywhere, in the home entertainment space, as it is quite suitable for television, movie viewing and gaming.
The HW300G is priced at Rs.60,000 (MRP) and is available ex-stock in stores across the country. It is also backed by a warranty period of two years
